Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2½ cups flour
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup coconut
- ½ lb mixed fruit
- 1 cup nuts
- 4 tsp vanilla
- 4 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually add milk, flour, baking powder, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in raisins, coconut, mixed fruit, and nuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.
- Bake for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
